  • 2 oz White Rum
  • 1 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • Fresh mint leaves
  • Soda water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lime wedge and mint sprig for garnish


  1. Add mint leaves and sugar to a glass.
  2. Use the muddler to press the mint gently leaves to release their flavor.
  3. Squeeze in lime juice and muddle lightly.
  4. Add rum and stir.
  5. Fill with ice cubes and top with soda water.
  6. Garnish with a lime wedge and a mint sprig.

Caipirinha (Using Muddler for Lime and Sugar)


  • 2 oz Cachaça
  • Half a lime, cut into wedges
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • Crushed ice


  1. Place lime wedges and sugar in a glass.
  2. Use the muddler to mash the lime and sugar together, releasing the lime juice and blending it with the sugar.
  3. Add Cachaça and fill the glass with crushed ice.
  4. Stir well to mix the ingredients.
