Premium Cigars
A premium or super-premium cigar is a cigar made by hand and should be consistent from one cigar to the next. Premium cigars are constructed from three parts - the filler, the binder, and the wrapper. The filler is the interior of the cigar. Premium
Cigars
The premium cigar fad that roared during the late 1990s collapsed with a resounding thud as the market became saturated with cheap cigars. Since then, cigar manufacturers have sought new consumer bases in order to
revitalize the sector. The vast majority of American-made cigars are born of machines, and most are made with several flavorings
but some premium cigars are still hand made in Miami by Cuban expatriates.
Backwoods
Backwoods cigars made in USA are a product of Altadis USA, makers of such brands as Phillies and Hava Tampa and trademark owners to some of the biggest names in premium hand rolled cigars such as Montecristo and Romeo y Julieta. Backwoods are machine made all tobacco cigars. Unlike most other machine made cigars which contain paper in the wrapper or binder, these cigars are 100 percent tobacco.
