When a cigar manufacturer makes an imperfect cigar, they are classified as seconds. The imperfections are usually very slight, such as a veiny or discolored wrapper. The imperfections are rarely noticeable to the naked eye, but the tobacco used is the same as those labeled under their brand names. Since factories don't intentionally produce seconds, the supply on some sizes is limited. This may very well be the best value in premium cigars. They are the same blend and composition that comes boxed and sells for almost twice the price. |
