The Preferido is the original shape rolled at the La Aurora factory back in 1903. La Aurora is the Dominican Republic’s oldest brand, rolled at the countries oldest factory. The Preferido is the traditional size, a perfecto expanding to a fat center in the middle giving the enthusiast a variety of flavors and strengths. Today the size is made to commemorate the brands beginnings and is sought out by cigar lovers around the world.
This cigar is available in a variety of wrappers. The Platinum Cameroon, Red Maduro, and Gold Corojo are all extra aged in oak barrels for several years to give them a very unique and settled flavor. These full-bodied treasures are masterfully handmade with robust Dominican tobaccos encased in oily Cameroon wrappers, all specially aged in oak cognac barrels.
