Here is a cigar that you would be hard pressed to find anywhere but Cigar.com or a few select boutique shops throughout the US. El Cobre is named after an old mining town in Cuba. A museum-gallery will be inaugurated in the town of El Cobre, in the eastern province of Santiago de Cuba, in order to show the five-century-old history of that copper field.
The mine, which was closed in 2001.
For a long time, copper was as much a demanded export from Cuba as was the tobacco that the island is famous for. However, what makes the El Cobre most unique as a cigar, is who makes it and the history of the blend. The Oliva cigar family of Nicaragua has a dominating presence in the Central American nation.
A full-bodied smoke with robust, earthy undertones and spice. The El Cobre comes in a wooden cabinet box and all the cigars wear a cello wrapper.
